Our last walk to the Barranca Plano area above Torrox Pueblo on a pleasant Friday in October, was the best attended yet.
There were 26 walkers and 3 dogs and we did a circular walk of approx. 12 kms around the mountains with a picnic break at one of our new members casa’s.
It made a very pleasant change and we all enjoyed the fabulous views and the chance to sit and unwind.
Although there were some fairly steep inclines, we made it without any problems and stopped to take in the scenery and pet the donkeys en route.
Our next walk is on Friday, November 25th and we’ll be walking from Lake Viñuela towards La Zubia, a small hamlet nestled in a pretty valley. This is an easy walk
on a good track and is between 8 and 10 kms.
