Following on from its successful first Exhibition last year, the Art & Photographic Groups of the U3A El Morche, are returning for a second exhibition in June, at a new venue & with lots of new exhibits for visitors to see.

This year the Exhibition entitled – The Brush & the Lens – will run from June 10th to June 24th, and will be based at the new Tourist Office in Torre del Mar, opening from 10am to 2pm & 4pm to 7pm Monday to Friday and 11.30am to 1.30pm & 5pm to 7pm on Saturday.

The Art & Photographic groups which each hold regular meetings throughout the year, will be featuring some of the very best of their members work, with both a local flavour & from further afield.

Commenting on this years exhibition, Beryl Holindrake & Roland Gillett, the respective leaders of each of the groups, said that everybody involved was really looking forward to the event, and that much had been learned from the first Exhibition, which was being reflected in the forthcoming event.

It is hoped that the new venue will provide a steady stream of visitors, who come to the Tourist Office, to find out about what the area has to offer for their holiday or visit.

In the coming weeks, as well as selecting their best works to showcase, the group members will be encouraging everyone that they know & can think of to go along to the Tourist Office, which is situated just back from the seafront, and close to the famous traffic free Paseo de Larios.
