Our U3A El Morche Association Annual General Meeting has come round again and it is therefore my pleasure to give you the requisite three weeks’ notice of this annual event.
You are cordially invited to attend the Annual General Meeting of our Association to be held at the Parquesol Restaurant/Bar in El Morche on Friday 10th May 2013 at 11. 30 am. The Agenda for this meeting is set out below.
If there any subjects in respect of our Association that you wish to raise with the Committee, please contact Sue Harrison (email@example.com) or Gerry Silwood (firstname.lastname@example.org), your Members’ Representatives, (before the 6th May) who will be happy to voice these for you at our Committee Meeting, (which will take place immediately before this Annual General Meeting).
Coffee, tea and water will be provided free of charge (ask at the bar) and biscuits will be made available within the auditorium. Please confirm your attendance (for refreshments and quorum purposes) by using the “Contact Us” page on our Web site (u3aelmorche.wordpress.com), otherwise proceedings may be delayed.
The Annual General Meeting is the event which would normally contain the election of Committee Members, however whilst we have received nominations for some of the Committee posts, none have been duplicated. Therefore there will be no need for an election at our AGM, just the confirmation of the existing and new Committee Members.
